Cranbourne Park Health & Wellness are looking to expand the team at 24 Mundaring Drive Cranbourne. We currently have rooms available on a half day, full day and monthly basis.

We encourage a wide range of providers and practitioners who are self-motivated and dedicated to the community. Currently, we have Physiotherapy, Audiology, Psychology and Podiatry services.

The Cranbourne Park Health & Wellness Centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The facility has a receptionist manning the front desk 5 days per week.
Furnished rooms include internet connection, air conditioning and WiFi for all your business needs. Receptionist greet and arrive, clients, answer phones, make bookings and confirm appointments. All billings are to be completed by Allied Service Providers.

Facilities available include an open plan waiting room with easy access to all rooms, well-maintained garden, security cameras and gated premises after hours. Toilet facilities including disabled toilet and babies change table.

Ample onsite parking for both clients and staff including disabled parking. Additional on-street parking is also available.

Medical Receptionist

Job Type: 2 x Casual positions available to build to permanent part time

Hours available: 36

Working hours: Shifts ranging from Monday to Sunday

As a medical receptionist you will join our team in this front office role, representing the clinic and supporting the high quality care and services provided to our general practitioners and patients.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual with exceptional administration skills to be a part of our front reception team.

We are also looking for someone with a friendly, welcoming disposition and excellent communication skills, to ensure the best first impression of our clinic. You will also have a professional and courteous manner towards all levels of staff and stakeholders.

Your role will include;

  • Meet and greet patients
  • Schedule appointments
  • Appointment book management
  • Waiting room management
  • Patient billing, private and online claiming
  • Administration support
  • Liaising with doctors and staff
  • Process daily banking and batching
  • Managing internal and external correspondence
  • Answering, screening and handling all phone calls for general practitioners, allied health, nursing staff and management
  • Day to day office administration duties
  • Ordering of stationery and all supplies required for our office
  • Ensuring efficient and smooth running of reception duties
  • Clean and tidiness of our workplace

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Strong background working within a busy General Practice and/or a primary health setting
  • Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Highly organised and ability to manage time efficiently
  • High attention to detail
  • Time management skills and demonstrated punctuality
  • Reliable and flexible
  • High standards of presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to respond to clients’ needs in a warm and friendly manner
  • Preferred languages: English, Russian
